Why should we allow our children to play puzzle games? Here are some reasons:

Kids games ( including sudoku puzzles ) can help kids acquire thinking that is both, coherent and logical. Such thinking allows for them to be able to make sound judgements based on drawing conclusions based in fact.This manner of proceeding in logic is what we like to call ‘natural deduction’. A system of reasoning, the art of applying reasoning to the structure and content, the method of deduction. Puzzles like this, where we are given a grid and a list of premises and asked what can be deduced from them, are commonly referred to as Logic 'grid' puzzles.Puzzle games for kids like word search are used by some teachers as educational tools for children. GAMES FOR INFANTS

Even though ideas and associative skills don't begin to develop in kids until around age six, most infants can grasp the simple concept of action - reward.

For example: Tie a mobile to a baby's toe, he or she will quickly catch on that each time the leg is kicked the mobile will move. Of course this action will be repeated again and again to the delight and fascination of your infant.

While you go abut your daily activities provide your infants with toys which will provide a direct physical connection between action and reward.
